PCGS VF 35 Fr. 124 $20 Legal
Fr. 124 $20 1862 Legal Tender PCGS Very Fine 35.A Series 22 example that last appeared at auction in 1977. All of the folds are light and the note has earned a comment-free third party holder. The last time that a Fr. 124 in this third party grade crossed the auction block was in 2011. That PMG 35 went for $6,038. PCGS has graded only one higher with none equal, while over at PMG, we see that they have graded just two equal with only two more higher.
