Petaluma, CA - $10 1875 Fr. 1150 The First National Gold Bank
Ch. # 2193 PMG Choice Fine 15.One of just a half dozen 1875 $10s reported from this always-in-demand Petaluma bank, it is one of the finer pieces listed in the census. This and one other note are the two highest grade examples available to collectors. It has great color, bold signatures, and loads of eye appeal. The other better grade note sold for $74,750 in 2007 and has been off the market since that time. Tonight's offering is pedigreed to our sale of the Tom Flynn collection in 2008 and later to our 2013 Central States auction where it brought $24,000.
