Fr. 71 $5 1880 Legal Tender PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 65 PPQ.A striking example with its large brown spiked treasury seal and vibrant colors, this note is well printed on bright paper with original surfaces as well as excellent margins and face-to-back registration. This note is the highest grade example of this Friedberg number recorded by PCGS Banknote (tied with two others) at present. If receiving the same grade from PMG, it would be bested by only seven notes out of the 140 registered examples.
