National Bank Ch. # (S)9246 PMG Very Fine 20.A great new discovery from an excessively rare Charlottesville bank that was only in business from 1908 until 1914. During that brief period, it issued only a handful of $10 and $20 Date Backs, with tonight's offering just the third piece to be reported. It is a pleasing, pen-signed $10 with nice color along with some repairs. Last year, another $10, in a PCGS Very Fine 30 PPQ holder, sold for $10,200 at auction.
