Dallas, TX - $100 1882 Brown Back Fr. 522 The National Exchange
Bank Ch. # 3623 PMG Fine 12.A very rare note from this major Dallas bank, this is one of just thirty $100 Brown Backs reported for the entire state and one of just two from this charter. However, of that pair, one is locked away in an institutional collection leaving only this piece available to the many Dallas area collectors. Last offered in our 2010 Central States auction, it has a few minor repaired edge splits, but the overall appearance is quite compelling with bold ink colors and ample margins all around.
