Serial Number 1 Cleburne, TX - $5 1902 Date Back Fr. 596 The
Home National Bank Ch. # (S)10411 PMG Very Fine 30.A most attractive Serial Number 1 example, this piece comes from this short-lived Johnson County issuer that operated from 1913 until just three days after Christmas in 1925 when the receiver arrived to close the doors. To date, just thirteen pieces are reported (four of which are in institutional collections) with tonight's offering the only Number 1 note in the census. It is a bright, well embossed Date Back that has acquired some storage folds, but, otherwise, exhibits good color and bold signatures, one signed and one stamped.
