Serial Number 2 Canyon, TX - $5 1929 Ty. 2 The First National Bank Ch. # 14090 PCGS Banknote About Unc 55 PPQ.One of the few 14000 charter issuing banks on the state of Texas, this Canyon bank takes claim to some rather interesting statistics. Chartered in April of 1934, this Randall County bank barely issued any National Bank Notes at all, only 260 notes to be exact. One of the lowest issuances that one can find on a bank, yet somehow the National Bank Note Census is made up of a dozen examples. Those 12 notes consist of Serial Numbers 1-6 $5 and $10 cut sheets. This peachy Serial Number 2 note has remained off the market for over 25 years, but that changes tonight with this offering.
