Brownwood, TX - $50 1902 Plain Back Fr. 678 First National Bank Ch. # 4695 PMG Very Fine 25.A very nice note from an infrequently available Brown County bank is offered here. While sixteen large size are known from this charter, an astonishing nine of them are locked away in institutional collections. This offering is one of just four large notes available to collectors bearing the bank's second title. It is a crisp mid-grade $50 with nice color and bold stamped signatures. PMG has just added a comment about the lightening of some minor staining.
