Rare Green Lane Ace - $168 Outstanding in 1910
Green Lane, PA - $1 Original Fr. 382 The Green Lane National
Bank Ch. # 2131 PMG Very Fine 25.A very attractive note from just about the most short-lived of all of Pennsylvania's National Banks. This charter was only in business for 21 months from December 1873 until September 1875 and it had just $168 outstanding in 1910. Surprisingly, five survivors have been reported, including this Original Series Ace that is crossing the auction block for the first time. It is well margined with good color and signatures. PMG has just mentioned a minor repair.
