Utica, NY - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 469 The First National Bank Ch. # 1395 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ★ .An absolutely stunning note from this Utica bank, this piece is making its first public appearance since a 2010 auction where it was called Choice CU. It certainly has the look of a fully CU piece within its holder, but PMG saw, or imagined something, when it assigned a Choice AU grade to this lovely example. However, they did award it their "*" designation for exceptional eye appeal, which it certainly deserves. This pen-signed beauty features blazing ink colors with full originality and would be a desirable acquisition for any collector.
