Description

Unique for the Bank

Gloversville, NY - $1 Original Fr. 382 The National Bank of Gloversville Ch. # 1938 PMG Very Good 10 Net.
Hardly the highest grade note we have ever offered, but this note certainly is up there with the rarest, as it is the only note known from this short lived Fulton County institution. This charter was only in business from 1872 until 1878 and it had just $514 outstanding in 1916. It has been severed and reattached, but it still maintains a decent overall appearance. This is a great New York rarity despite its well-worn condition.
