Very Rare Clarke NB of Minneapolis $10 Red Seal

Minneapolis, MN - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 613 The Clarke National Bank Ch. # (M)6449 PMG Extremely Fine 40.
A great Minnesota rarity, this piece hails from a Minneapolis bank that was only in business from 1902 until its liquidation in 1911. Just three notes, spread across two titles, are known from this short-lived charter. This beautiful Red Seal represents the "more common" of the two titles, as it is one of just two notes reported bearing the bank's first title which was used from only 1902 to 1905. It is a lovely note with rich ink colors, dark pen signatures, and fancy serial number 888 as a bonus.
