New York, NY - $2 1875 Fr. 393 The Chase National Bank Ch. # 2370 PCGS Very Fine 25.A surprisingly scarce type and denomination from this prolific New York City issuer is offered here. The bank's census stands at only seven pieces, including this example. However, three of the recorded seven grade Very Good or worse, leasing few options for today's collectors. Despite stains, edge splits and repairs mentioned on the PCGS holder, this 1875 $2 faces up nicely with good color and dark signatures.
