First National Bank Ch. # 12536 PCGS Banknote About Unc 50
PPQ.This wonderful Serial Number 1 large size note from Montana made its first public appearance in our October 2012 Dallas ANA auction. It is one of just two large notes known from this eastern Montana bank - both Number 1s, the other being a $20 - both of which surfaced and were offered at the same time thirteen years ago. From the "C" plate position, it features bright paper, a vibrant blue overprint, and bold pen signatures including that of George M. Miles as President. While it has a bit of an irregular cut in its top margin and has sustained some very light handling, it was obviously well preserved over the years. This is a great Montana note fit for the finest of collections.
