Description

First Public Offering Since 2001

Lometa, TX - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 629 The First National Bank Ch. # 10323 PMG Choice Fine 15.
A great note from the only bank to issue in this obscure Lampasas County location. This charter was closed by the receiver in 1930. While five notes are listed in the census, two are locked away in institutional collections and tonight's offering is the first of the remaining survivors to make a public appearance since we last offered this $10 as part of The Steve Ivy Collection in 2001. It is rather circulated, but retains solid paper for the grade along with a bold blue overprint.
