Unusual "Short Snorter" Brooklyn National
Brooklyn, NY - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 602 The Greenpoint
National Bank Ch. # (E)10054 PCGS Banknote Very Fine 20.This offering is a rather unusual note from a better Brooklyn bank that is one of only a dozen or so pieces reported. It first appeared on the market in our 2005 Long Beach auction where we said, "It comes from a family member of a former employee of the bank, who informs us that it was signed as a souvenir by all of the employees of the institution upon the departure of her relative, with three signatures on the front and many more on the back." This is an interesting note that will spice up any collection of Nationals.
