Oelwein, IA - $20 1882 Brown Back Fr. 504 The First National Bank Ch. # (M)5778 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.A pretty example of a scarce early note from this Fayette County bank, this is one of just three $20 Brown Backs reported from this charter, one of which is ensconced in the Higgins Museum. This piece displays vibrant ink colors and fully original paper surfaces.
