New York, NY - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 490 The Western National Bank of the United States Ch. # (E)4567 PMG Very Fine 30.This short lived institution is one of New York City's scarcer banks, having run through three issuing titles in a little more than twelve years. This bright, well margined example bears its third title which appeared on its notes for a mere eight months in 1903.
