& Metals National Bank Ch. # (E)1250 Uncut Sheet PCGS Apparent
Extremely Fine 45.This is the only uncut sheet reported from this Lower Manhattan bank that bowed out in April 1926 when it merged with the Chase National. Originally the Mechanics NB, it adopted its second title after merging with the National Copper Bank in 1910. A very attractive sheet with bold ink colors, dark printed signatures, and embossing, it was harshly assigned an apparent grade by PCGS for some minor paper clip rust specks.
