Description

Albany, GA - $10 1882 Brown Back Fr. 483 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)3872 PMG Very Fine 25.
This is just the third note to be reported bearing this Albany bank's excessively rare first title, which was only used until 1908, when it merged with the Citizens National Bank in town. This moderately circulated $10 Brown Back displays pleasing color, bold purple stamped signatures, and a neat and quite scarce title layout displaying the city and state together in the tombstone. PMG has just added the comment retouched to the holder of this pretty note.
