Alachua, FL - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. # 8980
PMG Very Fine 25.A truly rare note from the only bank to issue in this small north Florida community. The census shows just five large and four small examples extant from this location, including this offering. It is tied for the finest graded of that small size quartet and exhibits bright paper and even wear. The other PMG Very Fine 25-graded note reported, a Type 2 $10, fetched $10,200 in our 2022 Central States auction.
