Description

Unique for the Bank

Marshall, MI - $10 1875 Fr. 418 The National City Bank Ch. # 2023 PMG Very Fine 30.
A great note from one of Michigan's rarest banks is offered here. This issuer was a short-lived affair as it was only around from 1872 until the receiver arrived to close the doors forever in 1891. This 1875 $10 is the only note that has ever surfaced from the charter and comes from an outstanding balance of a mere $790 in 1915. Fortunately for collectors, it is a very attractive note with balanced margins, bold ink colors and signatures, and problem free wear. A significant rarity for any collector who appreciates unique notes.
