Serial Number 1 Santa Cruz, CA - $20 1929 Ty. 1 County First
National Bank Ch. # 9745 Uncut Sheet PCGS About New 53.This lovely all Serial Number 1 uncut sheet from an always popular Santa Cruz bank saw its last public appearance in our 2014 Long Beach auction. At that time, it, along with its $5 and $10 Number 1 sheet counterparts, had recently surfaced after being held as vault cash in the bank for eighty years. Displaying ample margins along with bold ink colors and embossing, it is a bright and attractive uncut sheet with only a few folds and some light handling accumulated over the years that it lay in storage at the bank. In our 2023 FUN auction, we sold the number 1 $10 sheet, in a PCGS About 50 holder, for $12,000.
