Monte Vista, CO - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First National Bank Ch. #
7228 PMG Very Fine 25.A very tough note from the only bank to issue in this remote San Luis Valley community, this is just the fourth small size to be reported from this charter that was closed by the receiver in February of 1932. However, of that quartet, this $10 is the first to ever cross the public auction block. Fortunately for collectors, it is a pleasing mid-grade note displaying just even, problem-free wear.
