CHOC2 Burgett 2 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.The Choctaw Nation issued Treasury Warrants in 1863 that were payable in three annual installments, one, two, and three years after date. This $1, printed on blue paper, is signed by James Riley, National Secretary of the Choctaw Nation, as well as by Samuel Garland, Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation (P.C.C.N.) Due to their connection with Oklahoma, Native American, and Civil War history, these notes are always popular when they periodically appear.
