HB-176 EP-21 Reed-ME01 1¢ Mendum's Family Wine Emporium Extremely Fine.A well centered deep blue 1¢ stamp with a little light foxing is offered in this lot. Head-on, the mica is clear, but crazing near the inside rim and over Franklin's portrait comes into play when the piece is tilted. An olive-gold encasement with golden-brown highlights on the advertising side is observed, while on the other side the right tab is slightly bent. The Reed rarity rating is R-4, 31-40 examples known.
