Rare Glendale Large Size - One of Two Known with this Title
Glendale, CA - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 632 First National Bank
Ch. # 10412 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.This extremely rare Los Angeles area bank issued under three different titles in two locations, with Glendale being the second. Just three large size are known from the Glendale location, with this offering being the "more common" of the two Glendale titles with two pieces reported. This $10 is the finer of the pair and the only one to have ever appeared at public sale. It is a bright and original piece that displays excellent color and original surfaces. This title was used by the bank from 1922 until its liquidation in 1934, at which time it had a mere $360 in large outstanding.
