Description
HB-126 EP-16 Reed-JG01 1¢ J. Gault Plain Frame Extremely Fine.Considered to be an R-7 by Fred Reed, indicating eleven to fifteen examples known. In Hodder-Bowers reference the authors state their opinion on page 113 that fewer than 15 examples are thought to have survived. A dark blue stamp is shifted slightly to the right on this example. The mica is mostly clear save for a small separation at 6 o'clock and some scattered crazing. The case is a natural brown while there is a rim bump at 2 o'clock.
