Pennsylvania June 1, 1780 $2 PMG Very Fine 25.
Authorized by the Act of June 1, 1780, this note was part of an issue of $1,250,000 in so-called "Dollar Money" that was payable in Spanish milled dollars by December 31, 1786. All denominations of this emission are very rare, with only 25,000 of each value issued. This is the first offering of this denomination from this issue which we have made as part of one of our public auctions.
