South Carolina April 10, 1778 2s 6d-5s / 3s 9d-10s Uncut Block of Four PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.This is one of two examples of this uncut block of four that we are offering in this auction, bringing the total number of different sheets of this layout offered to four. All four notes in the block bear serial number 854 and are signed by John Beale and John Peronneau. The sheet has two small body holes, with one affecting the 10s note, and some damp staining.
