Equality, IL- National Bank Spurious $3 Aug. 15, 1858This is only the fourth time that we have offered a note on this bank. That is not surprising since all genuine notes on this bank are listed in Haxby as SENC, "Surviving Example Not Confirmed." This particular note is from a fraudulent printing plate that was originally intended for a spurious $3 on The National Bank of Providence, Rhode Island. Very Good.
