Fr. 247 $2 1896 Silver Certificate PCGS About New 53.A well margined $2 Ed with a contemporary inscription on the top and bottom back margins. It's our guess that the inscription, which is clearly contemporary as it's dated 1896, would disappear with a correct restorative effort.
