Description

Milton 2E10R.3 10¢ Second Issue Experimental Courtesy Autograph Choice New. This note, which has been courtesy autographed by John Burke, has been dyed bright pink, apparently by J.N.T. Levick, although it does not bear his hallmark rubber-stamped Maltese Cross. This alteration was at one time considered a legitimate variety, and it was listed that way by Limpert in whose collection it resided in the 1940's. Limpert Collection Stack's lot 656 9/24/55; MRF CAA 1/97 Lot 944.
