Norwood, MA - $5 1902 Red Seal Fr. 589 The Norwood NB Ch. # (N)8474A great Massachusetts rarity and the first note we have ever handled on this short-lived Norfolk County issuer that was only in business from 1906 until 1917. Just two pieces are currently reported - a $20 Date Back which, according to Track & Price, has never appeared at public sale and this $5 Red Seal. Best of all, this great note has survived the ravages of time and still displays legible pen signatures and a bold red overprint. Certain to be of great interest to the many collectors of Bay State nationals. PCGS Fine 12.
