Description
CT18/132A Counterfeit $20 1861. This is probably a Samuel Upham woodcut counterfeit with printed signatures and a red serial number. A21 is the plate letter Upham choose for his handiwork. Upham's marginalia has also been removed from this note that was used as an economic soldier, instead of its so-called souvenir purpose. Tremmel assigns a Rarity 7 to this counterfeit.
