Sylvania, GA - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The NB of Sylvania Ch. # 10829A great item which is certainly the single rarest Series 1929 Georgia note we have ever sold. This piece is unique in small size, and has been off the market for a full generation. In fact, only one other note is known from this one bank location, with that Blue Seal having disappeared into a major Georgia holding after its last appearance fifteen years ago. With this bank having issued only a handful of Series 1929 specimens before entering receivership in January of 1930, it may be many years before another opportunity arises to own any note from this tiny Screven County community.
