Fr. 124 $20 1862 Legal Tender PMG Very Fine 30. The earliest number of this nation's $20 Legal Tender notes, and the first to use the Treasury Seal. The note is tightly margined, as is very typical for this type, but the colors are quite strong. On the whole, a very pleasing example, and well up in the condition census. Track & Price lists 90 pieces known for Fr. 124. According to their census, eight of the 90 grade VF 30 and better, and an amazing 63 examples grade 12 and less.
