La Crosse, WI - $1 1875 Fr. 384 The La Crosse NB Ch. # 2344A banker had the sense to set aside a large number of aces from this bank including many of the notes serial numbers 1 through 100. This piece is serial number 74 and like so many from that group, it saw extensive use in the Wisconsin channels of commerce. A couple of splits, including a large repaired tear and a missing corner must be mentioned for the sake of accuracy. Very Good.
