Brandon, MS- Mississippi & Alabama Rail Road Company $100 18__ (Faded) G32 Kraus 10125i PMG Choice Fine 15.Notes from out-of-state issuers such as this railroad were pressed into service by the firm of R. and D.G. Mills of Galveston who endorsed and reissued them locally in the early 1840s. A good bit scarcer than the John Marshall $100s, this design incorporates a vignette of Commerce reclining with a dog in front of a large pillared building and train flanked by twin end panels with Justice standing. A nice evenly circulated example.
