The Kensington Bank was a long-lived institution in business from 1826 until it became the Kensington National Bank (Charter 544) in 1864. Printed by ABNCo, this note features a portrait of a rather demure young woman holding a hand fan flanked by twin green "1" protectors. Vignettes of workmen appear in each lower corner. PMG mentions damp stains and a small ink spill.
