Description
Franklin, PA- Venango Bank $5 Sep. 1, 1863 G6a PMG Choice Fine 15.The $5 design features the Pennsylvania coat of arms at center flanked by vignettes of an infant Mercury at right and a farm girl with grain at left. The note design is completed by two green 5 protectors as well as a green security panel and a green and black counter. The note has a paper scrape by the center vignette. PMG mentions that the note has been previously mounted.
