New Jersey 1786 3s PMG Very Fine 25.This colorful series has always been somewhat underrated. The New Jersey arms printed in red on the face make it very distinctive. The imprint of ISAAC COLLINS is on the back with a bold and finely printed sage leaf. According to Track & Price, only a PCGS Very Fine 30PPQ example that we sold three years ago for almost $1,500 exceeds this attractive offering in grade, despite minor repairs. This note is Ex: John J. Ford Collection where it fetched for $2,070 in March 2007.
