New Jersey January 9, 1781 3s 6d PMG About Uncirculated 50.The Act of January 9, 1781 authorized £30,000 in legal tender Bills of Credit which were redeemable by December 31, 1787. The notes feature the New Jersey coat of arms on the face and the ubiquitous sage leaf nature print on the back. The note is well printed with the clear bold signatures of Benjamin Smith and Robert Neil. PMG mentions a corner repair.
