Description
New Jersey June 9, 1780 $1 PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45 EPQ.A lightly circulated Colonial, this piece is at the higher end of the spectrum for representatives of this type that we have auctioned. The first signature on the front is David Brearley's. Brearley was the one of the signers of the United States Constitution and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Both the front and back showcase bright inking and embossing. PMG has bestowed upon this piece the EPQ designation because of its original paper surfaces.
