Houston, TX- Consolidated Fund of Texas $500 Sep. 1, 1837 Cr. CF5 Medlar 73 PCGS Banknote Choice AU 58.This very lightly handled $500 certificate is well printed on bright paper with delicate but darkly inked handwritten information, including Benjamin F. Smith's endorsement on the back which PCGS Banknote has mentioned as a contemporary annotation. Aside from the usual cut cancels, the note is free of other meaningful impairments and has no repairs.
