Description

Austin, TX- Consolidated Fund of Texas $500 Mar. 1, 1839 Cr. CF11 Medlar 83 PCGS Banknote Extremely Fine 40.
Payable to one "Wm. J. Bryan," this $500 Consolidated Fund of Texas note is nearly identical to Cr. CF10, save for the denomination. A floral border and two simple end panels characterize the design. The word "his" is handwritten twice on this example, before "heirs" and before "legal." PCGS Banknote comments on the usual cut cancels as well as several light stains.
