New Orleans, LA - $50 1929 Ty. 2 The Hibernia National Bank Ch. # 13688 PMG Very Fine 25.Just over 400 Type 2 Fifties in all grades combined are listed in the current National Bank Note Census, with 133 of that number from just one bank, the Bank of American National Trust & Savings Association of San Francisco, CA. Representatives from most other banks are quite scarce, with this bank contributing fifteen examples to the census, including this attractive piece, which is a rather handsome example with some minor rust noted by PMG.
