Mount Vernon, IL - $20 1882 Brown Back Fr. 504 The Third National Bank Ch. # (M)5689 PMG Very Fine 20.As the title might suggest, this was the third bank chartered in this Jefferson County community; it was also the last and fell into receivership on January 3, 1933. This is one of only two $20 Brown Backs reported from this charter and it exhibits nice color and even, problem free wear.
