Greensboro, NC- Greensboro' Mutual Life Insurance and Trust Company 25¢ (2); 50¢ (2); $1 (2); $2 1859-62 Very Good-Fine or Better.The company was incorporated by the state legislature in 1852 and remained in business until filing for bankruptcy in March, 1869 and being placed in receivership the following month. The $2 note predates the war by two years with all of the others dating between 1861 and 1862. All notes are fully issued and repair-free. The $2 has a sliver of the upper right margin missing and an edge tear at bottom right. (Total: 7 notes)
