Description

Fr. 2014-L $10 1950D Federal Reserve Notes. Fifty-Nine Examples.
These 59 strictly original San Francisco $10s are all that remain of a once original pack. The middle half of the remaining notes grade Choice Crisp Uncirculated, while the first and last quarters grade Extremely Fine or better due to pack handling. The last note also has a small top edge tear. There is one star and it replaced the note that had a serial number that ended in 73. It was moved to the beginning of the grouping by our consignor and therefore that is why it is the first note in our scan. All notes have plate letter I except for the star, which is a plate letter J example. The plate letter I notes have all retained a small part of their vertical paper guideline markers at bottom center from their 18 subject sheets. The accompanying BEP band was date stamped "Dec 6 1963" and pen dated "3-19-64." (Total: 59 notes)
